In the highly renowned Germany-wide Science4Life competition, which has been held for over 20 years, Klavant was awarded winner of the ideas phase in the Life Science Venture Cup category among around 60 participants.

Klavant won the prestigious German medical technology business plan competition 2020 among approx. 50 applicants and 11 finalists. The participants qualified for the finals in a multi-stage process over half a year. Around 60 experts were involved in evaluating the participating startups.

At the hybrid startup pitching competition VENTURE.Med 2020 organized by Business Angel Network Germany and the initiatives ProRuhrgebiet and Digital Economy of NRW, Klavant won the 2nd place. From around 60 participants, the 30-person screening committee selected the TOP 10 as finalists, who were able to present their business ideas in Cologne. Klavant convinced both the expert panel on site and the more than 100 investors who took part in the event online and who were able to vote for their favorites.
